Why Marcu Manufacturing

One of the best at CNC machine production

If you use CNC milled or CNC turned stainless steel or composite components in your operations, we can take on volume production, one-off prototyping and mission-critical requirements for all your metal and composite part needs.

To ensure 100% quality acceptance levels, we run a statistical process control (SPC) system designed to meet rigorous industry standards. Those standards let us produce parts for markets where precision machined products, rigid quality tolerances and high-quality aesthetics are the norm.

Our machinists are highly trained on manufacturing processes and industry quality standards, and they watch every little detail. Our location in the Atlanta metro area lets us offer the best possible pricing and on-time delivery to customers anywhere in the United States.

Services

From a single prototype to orders for thousands

Computer-controlled milling, turning, cutting and polishing, specialized packaging, and other customer-specific needs.

Max. part size 25" × 45"

CNC Milling

Ultra-precise computer-controlled cutting heads shape your product from a solid piece of stainless, other metals or composites. Our machining centers work to exacting tolerances, from prototype to production.

Diameter range Ø ½" to Ø 10"

CNC Turning

Sophisticated CNC turning equipment and skilled craftsmen produce mission-critical parts and prototypes that demand exacting tolerances.

Lathe capacity Ø 18" × 40" long

Conventional Machining

Horizontal and vertical mills and conventional lathes for short runs, precision prototype and tooling work, where a machining center would be too costly.

Run size One-off to short run

Prototype

Equipped and staffed for rapid-response prototype requirements, J-I-T demands and mission-critical short production runs, precision machined to specification and delivered on time.

We build Tooling, jigs, fixtures

Engineering Services

Off-site process and production engineering support on demand. We design and build tooling, jigs and inspection fixtures, and automate industrial processes with a focus on high-speed assembly equipment.

All parts undergo multiple quality checks. Third-party inspection reports are available if required.

CNC machining process

From drawing to finished part

Integrated CAD and CAM lets a completed design be fabricated efficiently, with fewer errors and better quality.

  1. Design in CAD

Our mechanical engineers model your part or assembly in 2D and 3D with SolidWorks, Inventor and AutoCAD. Models can be rotated, scaled and tested from any angle before any material is cut.

  2. Program in CAM

The drawing is converted to numbers and vectors that control the machines: drilling, turning, precision cutting, stamping, milling and polishing to the exact specification.

  3. Machine

Physical prototypes in just about any material, then low, medium or high-volume production runs with excellent quality and high accuracy.

  4. Verify

Statistical process control (SPC) tracks quality as the part flows through production, so your order is built to specification and finished on schedule.

About us

Quality workmanship since 1995

  1. Since 1995

Our first manufacturing center was founded as Marcu Manufacturing, Inc. in Hayward, California. Our engineers have worked in the machining industry for aerospace, robotics and semiconductor products ever since.

  2. 2006

We moved all our operations to the Atlanta metro area, including our well-trained machinists, knowledge base and equipment, to keep costs down for our clients.

  3. Today

Customers from metro areas across the United States rely on our services. We kept our West Coast clientele and added companies in automotive, medical, equipment automation and the semiconductor industries.

Mission-critical components which require rapid response times are our specialty.

The cornerstone of our ongoing success is a commitment to quality, aesthetics and quick turnaround times.

To ensure 100% acceptance levels, we have implemented a statistical system of process controls designed to meet rigorous MIL-I-45208A standards and ISO 9001:2000 requirements.
